Check the condition of the wiring insulation (check for inversion or short circuit at signal leads).
Go to Step 4

OXYGEN SENSOR OPERATION CHECK
Oxygen sensor
Check that the oxygen sensor is working properly by swapping the two sensors over (the fault follows the component).
End of diagnosis
