Check the condition of the wiring insulation (short circuit to Vbatt).

Wiring insulation faulty.
Restore correct wiring insulation.

SWITCH OPERATION CHECK
Check that the oil pressure switch is working properly
Go to Step 5
The oil pressure switch is not working properly.
Replace the oil pressure switch
