Test results

Carry out a fault diagnosis using the equipment on the CAN control units to check for the presence of grade C DTC, in particular checking that there are no errors at the NBC

Go to Step 2

2. Errors present in the Body Computer

1. Continue following the instructions given by the diagnostic equipment.

2. Continue following the instructions given by the diagnostic equipment.

Detach the connector for the ABS control unit and check, using the tester, that the control unit side circuit resistance is 120 Ohms like on the connector side

Check the body computer supply voltage

Go to Step 3

1. CAN faulty

2. Body Computer power supply missing

1. Go to Step 3

2. Restore the correct power supply.

Check the body computer wiring (no open circuit from NFR to NBC)

Go to Step 4

Wiring faulty

Restore the correct connection between NFR and NBC

Delete the errors using the diagnostic equipment.

Road test

to ensure that the control unit checks whether there are any errors still present.

Return to the workshop and check that the fault is no longer present using the diagnostic equipment.

End of diagnosis

The fault persists.
