Connect the diagnostic equipment and, in the "PARAMETERS" (Engine Management) mode, check the "REVERSING SWITCH" parameter. Engage reverse and check that the switch changes status Detach the connector for the switch and check that the switch is working properly using the tester in this procedure: - the switch has four pins: connect the probes to the first two and check, by pressing the switch, that the circuit switches from normally closed to normally open. Connect the probes to the other two and check, that when the switch is pressed, the circuits switches from normally open to normally closed. |
