Depending on the engine type, the vehicle may be equipped with the following gearboxes:

- 1.4 Turbo MultiAir 170 HP, 6-speed gearbox C635

- 1.4 16V TJet 155 HP 6 speed M32 gearbox

- 1.4 16V TJet 120 HP, 1.4 Turbo MultiAir 135 HP and 1.3 MultiJet, 95 HP, 5-speed gearbox C510.5

- 1.4 8V 5 speed C514.5 gearbox

- 0.9 85 HP TwinAir, 1.4 16V and 1.4 MultiAir, 6-speed gearbox C514.6

- 1.3 MultiJet 90 HP, 6 speed M20 gearbox

- 1.6 JTD 16V 6 speed M32 or C635 gearbox.

To improve the operation of the gearboxes, the vehicle makes use of a twin cable external gearbox control capable of guaranteeing:

- improved insulation against vibration

- improved manoeuvre precision

- quieter operation.

This new generation external control is technologically advanced due to of the extensive use of high performance technopolymers, used on the basis of different resistance, weight and self-lubricating capacity properties.

The 1.4 Turbo MultiAir, 135 HP version is also equipped with a 6-speed C635, dual clutch transmission, whose features are listed in the subgroups
